Savior of magic

An intelligent, well-trained Boy Who Lived comes to Hogwarts and Albus Dumbledore is thrown for a loop. Watch as Harry figures out his destiny as a large threat looms over the horizon, unknown to the unsuspecting magical population. Would Harry Potter be willing to take on his role as the Saviour of Magic or would the world burn in his absence?

Intelligent and ruthless

This is a story where Harry is abused by the Dursleys in a much more serious way, with beatings that border on muder attempts.

Luckily he escapes and grows up with a ghost and elves in the Potter castle.

This unique upbringing molds him into a wizard more traditional in nature, possessing profound knowledge of customs and arcane traditions.

Fast paced

There are instances where the storyline and character development appear somewhat contrived, inducing a sense of being forcibly led through certain events and interpretations.

Which in turn makes it hard to really take time to “enjoy” the everyday of the story. Its always on to the next and the next. This aspect of the story’s design can be exhilarating, yet slightly disappointing as it allows the reader to merely trail along the storyline rather than fully immerse in the world of the characters.

Feels a bit forced

The story does have a slight tendency to feel forced in how some characters are portraied or how certain events happens.

One thing that is somewhat interesting is the closeness of his ideolegies to Grindelwald.

Ending

The story goes beyond just defeating Voldemort, new prophecies and events happen that pit the magical world against the muggle world.

Again it has the forced feeling of this must happen, and not much explanation is being provided for why is must happen. There is an attempt, but I feel it isn’t enough.

My Rating

Overall i will give it a 2.5, if you are bored, read it. Otherwise its not that big of a loss to skip it.
